Case Study #52

Here's a card for the Case Study #52 of the week, which was to CASE an inspirational card from one of the very talented design team's blogs.  Not easy though!  There are amazing cards there, and I found one which inspired me, Sue Kohler.

I used this stamp from PB Flower Amongst Flowers which also enters into this week's challenge at Penny Black with the theme "Nature".

Stamped the image twice and embossed in white powder on green and pink cardstocks.  The background is also from PB Delicate Pattern which is embossed in clear powder.  The butterfly is from HA Antique Engraving which is also stamped and embossed in white.

This card also enters into : Penny Black at Allsorts

A very powerful dominant BG Lai -Yoke,(black) using the white and soft pink as supporting colours softens up the whole card and reinforces your message of nature very well.

Hello Lai, nice to see you back with us again at Penny Black at Allsorts. This is such a striking card. Your technique using two different coloured pieces of card with embossing has worked brilliantly.
Thank you for sharing your card with us and we hope you will join us again next month.
Good luck in the draw.
