Gift Box & Gift Pocket

There are 3 birthdays in the family in the month of September.  As you probably might know that Claire's birthday is coming up on the 5th and her niece's birthday also falls on the same day but they are 2 years apart.

Not too sure about other cultures with birthdays, but the dutch has a very cute way of celebrating their birthdays.  The birthday person will draw up a birthday list for the invitees which I think is a great way of getting what they would like to have instead of buying something which is irrelevant.

As she is turning 13, she has requested for pocket money to buy something.  I've made a gift box for her with lots of sweets inside and a pocket money.

The size of the gift box is about L-9cm X B-7cm X H-16cm and the gift pocket is L-9cm X B-6cm.

I'm entering this project to the following challenges : Charisma Cardz, Totally Papercrafts, Stamptacular Sunday, Die Cut Dreams

Just heard on the radio news that today we will have a beautiful day with lots of sunshines of high of 20 degrees celcius and tomorrow it will be the top summer weather and also will the last day of summer temperature of the year.  It's expected to be 25-30 degrees celcius.

At the moment, I'm peeking outside and could only see some sunshines and the leaves are moving too!  We are thinking of BBQ tonight and hopefully the weather stays good tonight!  Have a nice weekend!

I like the idea of the birthday list - it would make things so much easier for choosing gifts! Here that's really only done for family, I think - at least, that's the only time we've done it.
I hope your weather stayed nice! Here we still barbecue (although not eating outdoors) even through the winter. As long as it stays above -20 Celsius the propane tank will still operate, so there's usually only a month or so that we can't use it at all. Of course we sometimes have to shovel snow to reach it....lol
