Lawnscaping #35 & ABN Hero #5

Football Fever - European Football Championships in Poland.

Can I make a confession? I am NOT a football fan! Consequently I am rather dreading the next few weeks of football-filled evenings, while my DH is looking forward to all of them and if he has the choice of watching ALL of them he would!  Ok, I am feeling guilty because he tries not to watch every single match as he knows that I am not a fan.  As I am typing this post, he and the kids are watching the match right now and it's Holland against Denmark!  It's second half now and from the sound of it, he is not very happy with the performance of the footballers!  Shhhh.... I think it won't be any goal tonight!!

Tomorrow Claire has a birthday party and I decided to make this simple card by using the themes from Lawnscaping, A Blog Named Hero, CAS-ual Fridays.

I am sad too! :( no goals for Holland and they're in big trouble! Their next match is with Germany and I'm afraid they'll get kick out! Ouch. Uncle Marcel and Maurice must not be in a very good mood. Worries in the air. Haha... (dun have to publish this)

Maybe you'll get lots of crafty time while he watches the games? We can hope! I'm lucky that my husband only watches American football - not a long season, and he just watches it on the weekends, so it's not too bad.
Love the sweet colours, and that little seal!

Think of it this way, Lai-Yoke. . . . . .while he's watching football all week, you can create lots of cards! :)

Love this one! So adorable with the glittery hats, that darling seal and the bright, happy colors!

Oh this is just adorable, Lai-Yoke! I figure crafting time for me when hubby wants to watch something on TV I'm not interested in--maybe that will work for you during football season.

fijn weekend
