In December, when Brenda told me that I've been selected to be the Guest Designer of February for Stampalot Challenge, I was so thrilled, excited and speechless with this opportunity!
I was asked to design a card with the theme "In the Garden". Instead of making a card, I can't resist making two cards by using the same stamp!
For this theme, I used PB Lace Edged to create a tri-fold card. The image is stamped with distress ink Festive Berries and heat embossed with clear powder. I also did a little bit of masking here so that the image covers the length of the card.
As for the second card, I stamped the background in light pink on a kraft which gives a very special effect on the card - a little silky look!
The middle panel is stamped with HA Manuscript and heat embossed with white powder. The PB stamped is also heat embossed in white powder and I cut part of the flower to attach on the manuscript.
Thank you for your lovely comments.

Good Morning Lai-Yoke
Two absolutely stunning creations.
The way you have cut away the first one gives it such a delicate almost lace like feel and offers wonderful inspiration.
Your second card in the classic black and white is totally elegant.
Thank you so much foe being our Guest Designer at Stampalot this month, it's a pleasure to work with you.
Have a good Sunday.

Gorgeous cards, Lai-Yoke! I especially like the cutting done on the first one; but the using the same stamp for the background on the second one is very beautiful, too!
Forgot to say congratulations on being guest designer!!!
Thank you for GDT with us this month. These are such gorgeous creations, I love the way they have both turned out so differently even though using the same stamp.
Happy crafting

Congrats on your guest designer gig!! So exciting Lai-Yoke!:) Love how you cut around the stamped image on the first to create a unique card front and on the second I love that subtle bg stamping- beautiful!!
Two beautiful cards for your very well-deserved Guest Designer spot. Very creative to get such different looks from the same stamp. Love the cut out image on the first one, and the second, as Brenda says, is just so elegant.
