PTI Anniversary Party

Papertrey Ink is celebrating their 8th anniversary this week, and for this challenge we are simply asked to make a card which is inspired by Maile Belles's creation.

This is one of her many awesome creations.  I was simply attracted to the split technique of her card.

Here is my version of the split card by using PTI Friendly Flowers.  Instead of leaving an empty space on the split part, I added a piece of acetate which was stamped with MFT Woodgrain.  Love how it turned out!

A little update on Claire.  Her host family speaks very little English and they had to use google translate most of the time but the good side is that Claire is picking up some spanish words as well.

Usually, we take lunch and dinner at about 12.30nn and 6pm respectively but over there, their lunch is at 2-3pm and dinner is 9-10pm.

Two more nights and she will be back.

Thanks for dropping by!

That wood grain adds so much, and I love the kraft on kraft. Claire will probably look back on this experience and remember it fondly, no matter what obstacles she's facing now.
