Hand Stamped #103

Made this gift item which is flat enough to go into the mail box.  I am doing this Valentine exchange with someone I knew thru Flickr who lives in The Netherlands.

This is a simple heart-shaped mini bag and I thought putting some heart shape sweets and a mini card would be nice too.

I am entering this gift bag into the following challenges : Hand Stamped Sentiments, Ladybug Crafts, All Sorts Challenge, Pals Paper Arts

Thank You Cheiron

Last month at Hero Arts Flickr Goup, Joy T. organised a RAK Swap (Random Act of Kindness) and my RAK partner was Cheiron B.

I got so excited when the postman rang the doorbell and handed me a box.  Look at all the beautiful stuff that she sent to me and I must admit that there are certain things that I've not seen before eg. the washi tape. She even showed me how to use them.  Here is what I made from the washi tape.

She made this card during her class with J.McGuire.  Love the stamp which she used on this card, the colour and the shimmery look.  Thank you, Cheiron!

Thank You Emily

Received this sweet card from Emily L and some lovely twine too.  She is so generous to send me a wide variety of colours as she knows that I can't get them here!

When I first saw her card, I admired how she dress-up this doll with crepe paper which I would never have thought of doing it.  The next thing I caught myself lifting up her dress - now don't get me wrong but I was just curious of how she assembled the dress.

Thank you, Emily for such a lovely gift!  For those of you who have not pop over to see her creativity, please do drop by here.   I've already used one of the twine on my card!

HA ATC

Still applying the technique of colour pencil which is this month's challenge at Hero Arts and HA ATC Swap organised by Heather Maria

The dimension of the ATC is 9cm x 6cm.  For the first ATC, I used HA Special Moments and the sentiment is from HA Home.  First, I stamped the image and then I coloured the base cardstock in several colours around the flower.   I finished it with applying the pearl accents.  Love the finished effect of this simple ATC card.

For the second ATC card, I used HA Good Thoughts and paper pieced twice the flower.  Coloured the flowers in two different colours and put stickles on them.  The butterfly is from HA Antique Engravings which is stamped on the matching pink base cardstock.  The sentiment is from HA Home which is stamped around the card.

This card enters into the following challenge : Paper Play, Cas-ual Fridays

HA Easter/ Spring Card Exchange

This is my second posting of the day, please scroll down for the first posting if you are curious!

This month's theme at HA Exchange is to create either Easter or Spring Card.  This is my second time participating such exchange and so coincident that for both times, I will be sending a card to Canada but not only that I will be receiving a card from the same person again as the last exchange from The Netherlands!  How cool is that!

This time I will sending a card to Amie Majelle.  I thought that since it's spring time over here and we are famous for it's tulips, I made a her a tulip card.  All tulips are white heat embossed on a different coloured papers.  As for the backgrouond, I clear embossed it with the music background on the kraft paper and distressed the edges with white ink color.  The basket and the sentiment are from Sunny Smiles but I cut out the last part of the sentiment to replace it with "hello"  from the Everyday Saying.  Lastly, I added the pearl accent on the handle of the basket for that little touch!

Here is the beautiful card which I received from Karin
