SSS Work It Wednesday - August

All the while I have been taken it for granted for all the off days that I have during the weeks until recently I started working fulltime temporarily.  Today, I am so happy because it's a special off day and I made full use of it by making two cards.

Although, Halloween is not celebrated in The Netherlands, I just wanted to make one. I don't owe many Halloween stamps and decided to use SSS Village dies and turned it into a spooky houses!  The adorable ghosts are from Memory Dies which I bought last year in Canada.  The sentiment is a mix from HA and SSS sets which are stamped and heat embossed in white.  I am popping this card into SSS Work It Wednesday and Simon Wednesday Challenge.

Thanks for dropping by.

Taw Challenge #11

Happy Monday to all and hope everyone had a good weekend!  A quick post today.

Here is my second card for the inspirational challenge at The Alley Way Stamps.  As I do not have their stamps, I used their freebies to make this simple card.

Taw Challenge #11

"Be Inspired" by the above picture is the challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps.  If you do not have The Alley Way stamps, you could use their freebies which I am using for today's card.

For this card, I chose this freebies as I wanted to have a "scary" and yet fun Halloween card so I decided to print several bats and cut them out!  Aww.... you might say that I cut away the wings but I thought it was a great idea for "ghostly" image although my daughter thought that it looks more like a tooth!  How fun to hear a different interpretation besides your own - how about you?

I did a lot of cutting and added all the googly eyes on them.  I also used the freebies for the sentiment.

Thanks for dropping by and have a good weekend!

Milk Boxes

Claire has a Birthday combi Halloween party this evening and I thought making melk boxes and stuffed with sweets would be the best gifts.  I also included a gift card with it.

Entering this into the following challenges : Paper Play, Cupcake Inspirations, Our Creative CornerWee Memories

Ooops, I cut on the wrong side!

Halloween

"NO Orange is allowed" is the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays this week and using "Black" is at Paper Play Challenge

Stamped the background in versamark in different Halloween images and sticked the googly eyes of all sizes on this card.  Finished it off with the CB bat!

Made this halloween card for Papercrafts Connection Monthly Challenge.  I downloaded the image from here

Halloween Coffin

This is my first card after a month break.  Made this card for Penny Black's Challenge with the theme "Halloween" , PB Saturday Challenge with the theme "Anything" and Lady Bug Crafts Ink.

Firstly, I cut out the shape of the coffin and drew some lines which acted as wood panels.  Made a circle in the middle of the coffin and a frame around it.  Stamped and cut this adorable mummy from PB Halloween Rap and made a slit on the arm so that arm can stick out on the window frame.  Stamped and cut the haunted house which is sticked in the orange cardstock for the inside card.

Finally added some cottons on the coffin to give a "foggy" effect!
