Guest Designer at Penny Black and More

This is a scheduled post.  Greetings from hot hot Malaysia! Yes, I am enjoying my holiday back home and catching up with families and friends and food....

I am again very honoured to be a Guest Designer at Penny Black and More and this time is for the mid-month inspiration.

As we are only a week away from Christmas, I would like to share a set of cards which I made before my trip.

The background is lightly distressed and I used a second generation stamping with HA Manuscript Background.  The snowflakes are from HA Snowflakes which is stamped in TH inks and sprayed with water.  The whole piece is sprayed with glimmer mist.  I love the new die cut from PB Creative Dies Wintertime.   Lastly, I added Wink of Stella on the sentiment.

Once again, thank you for dropping by and have a blessed festive seasons.  See you in 2016!

Guest Designer at PB and More

Hi there,  I am so excited and happy when Brenda of Stamping Sensations invited me to be a guest designer for Penny Black and More.

The theme is "Anything Goes" and I have chose a floral card for this posting.  I wanted to experiment with silver embossing and coloured the beautiful PB Divine in TH distress inks.  Love softness of the coloured poppies with the silver linning.  The background splatters are inked TH Ice Spruce with SU Grunge set.

The sentiment is from Stamp It Australia Friendship which is also heat embossed in silver.

Love to hear your comments on the above card. Have a good day!

Stamping Sensations - Colours of Autumn

** TOP 3 at Stamping Sensations and
Picked as GD at PB & More ***
*****************************************************************
It seems like I am squeezing as many cards as I could make this week before the school begins next week again.

I feel like colouring today so I ended up stamping PB Divine onto a watercolour paper and started painting in TH distress inks.  The poppies are coloured in spiced marmalade, winter berries and aged mahagony and the leaves are coloured in iced spruce and evergreen bough.  The background is stamped randomly with SU Grundge.  Then, I doodled along the branches and sprayed some glimmer mist. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft Blue Bay.

I am popping this into the following challenges Stamping Sensations30 day coloring challenge by The Daily MarkerThe Mixed Media Challenge and Penny Black and More.

Thanks for dropping by....

Spotlight of the Month

I am so honoured to be the "Spotlight"of the month at Penny Black and More.  To show my appreciation to the team, I made this virtual "Thank You" card for them.  Using the bingo challenge of this month, I've chosen the colours Yellow, Black and White.

The second layer of the panel is stamped with PB Delicate Pattern which is white embossed and the sentiment is from HA Stitched Frame.  The wider bow is folded three times and a thin ribbon is tied in the middle to create a second bow.

Do hop over at Penny Black and More to check out more.  Thanks for dropping by and have a nice day!

This card also enters into the following challenges : CAS-ual Fridays, Totally Papercrafts, Our Creative Corner

Guest Designer

In December, when Brenda told me that I've been selected to be the Guest Designer of February for Stampalot Challenge, I was so thrilled, excited and speechless with this opportunity!

I was asked to design a card with the theme "In the Garden".  Instead of making a card, I can't resist making two cards by using the same stamp!

For this theme, I used PB Lace Edged to create a tri-fold card.  The image is stamped with distress ink Festive Berries and heat embossed with clear powder.  I also did a little bit of masking here so that the image covers the length of the card.

As for the second card, I stamped the background in light pink on a kraft which gives a very special effect on the card - a little silky look!

The middle panel is stamped with HA Manuscript and heat embossed with white powder.  The PB stamped is also heat embossed in white powder and I cut part of the flower to attach on the manuscript.

Thank you for your lovely comments.
