Stamping Sue's Sramble #57

Yesterday, Stamping Sue organised HA Sramble over at Hero Arts Flickr.  Her theme was to make a card of all white card or a white, black, grey and/ or silver card.  I have chosen for black and white as I am more comfortable with this colour scheme.

The flowers are from HA Antique Flowers Engraving set which has been masked, heat embossed and paperpieced.  I was pretty impressed with the result given the time frame of within 1.30 hours to complete the task which I took an hour including uploading into flickr.

The only setback which I encountered yesterday was my computer decided to crash the moment I wanted to upload my photo!  Got panic but luckily I still had half an hour to spare!!  I am also entering this card into Simon Says Stamp Challenge.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

HA Colour Challenge March 2013

Happy Sunday and hope you are enjoying your day!

It's going to be a twine card today - lots and lots of twine involved with the beautiful colours from Hero Arts challenge.

Pretty direct card by using the negative die from Joy Craft except the "twining" part. There is hardly stamping involved on this card except the sentiment. I think I need to buy more of the twine after this card.  I used the new set of HA It's Your Day for the sentiment which is heat embossed in white on a vellum.

I am also linking this card into Moxie Fab World challenge to emphasize on the negative die and Stamptacular Sunday.

This is the card which I made for HA Scramble #55 yesterday evening with the theme embossing which was organised by Linda.  The die cut is from HA Floral set.

HA Scramble # 26

Made this card for last week's Hero Arts Scramble and decided to use the Hero Art's sketch too.  Used acetate for the background and stamped with HA Snowflakes in Staz On white.  Sprinkle some glitters on the border.

HA Scramble 90 min Challenge

This is my second time taking part on this HA Scramble 90 min Challenge which was hosted by Clare.  The challenge for this round is - GET DIRTY!

**Option 1 - Using at least one Hero Art stamp to create a project with a lot of distressing using Ranger Distress Inks

**Option 2 - create a project using at least one Hero Arts stamp and use paint, or have a painted image on your card

When I told the family members about the theme, everybody said that it was easy and all that I need to do is mess everything up with all inks, LOL!!!
I came up with choosing my favourite musical background which is white embossed and distressed in timber brown.  Had fun doing this!

All these beautiful goodies arrived last week which I won from the HA 90-minute Scramble which was hosted by our talented Sharon Dunn.  I was delighted to see that Sharon enclosed some twinery in the package which I would like to have but was unable to purchase them in The Netherlands. 

Combining the challenges from Lily Pads with the following Throw Down Colours,  Less is More with a one-layer card with sentiment and Moxie World with Food Wrap, Penny Black with Flowers, I've decided to make a Thank You card for Sharon!

Using the HA Everyday Saying, I stamped the sentiment several times with the required colours from Lily Pads and I've also punched several butterflies in the same colours. I added a small little circle in the middle of the butterfly to give a finishing touch!


I thought that since Sharon could purchase more varieties of stamping products in her area compared to here, I've decided to enclose some sweet dutch cookies "stroopwafel" for her. Using the PB Lace Edged heat embossed in white and distressed in several colours, I've made a wrapping for the stroopwafel. I hope she will enjoy the cookies.

Winner HA - 90 minutes Challenge

Yesterday over at Hero Arts, Sharon. D organised a 90 minutes scramble challenge.   When I checked on the website, I realised that 30 minutes has passed but when I saw the theme of the challenge was "window" I thought I should give it my first shot!

Yeah!  I managed to create a card within 30 minutes with my hands shaking.  I threw 3 cardstock away before I managed to get this simple card right!

Using the HA Antique Engraving, the butterflies were embossed in white on the blue vellum paper which I bought at a discount price.  The sentiment is from Great Flourishes which is stamped in the matching blue as well.  Both side borders are from Martha Stewart punch!

I had to re-take this photo shot today as the photo from yesterday was very dark.

Before the challenge was over, it was 2100 hours over here and I did not wait for the winner announcement as I knew that I never have such luck with random draw.  I needed the challenge for the kick of testing my stress level, planning, nervousness and patient. 

When I checked my email this morning, I saw my name as the winner!  Woopie!!  Here is what I will get from Sharon My Type and Hello Luscious Paper.
