CASology #150

Here is a quick card which I made for my niece who passed her exam.  The background is stamped randomly with Lawn Fawn set.  I wanted an adorable graduation card therefore I chose this giraffe from Avery Elle.  Finished off with the hat from Lawn Fawn.  The sentiment is in dutch and it means "congratulations".

I am popping this into CASology challenge.

Thanks for dropping by!

Graduation - Lawnscaping Challenge #55

One of my cousin graduated about 2 weeks ago and I have not sent him any card yet.  I got this idea yesterday 1/2 hour before bedtime and I had to try it out.

First, I dry embossed it on a white cardstock and used 4 different blues of TH distress inks to swipe on the white cardstock diagonally as it's the trend at the moment.  Then heat embossed both the hat and the sentiment.  I applied glossy accent and paper pieced the hat.  Simple card but love how the different tone of blues turned out on the embossing.

Graduation

A little break from the Christmas card.  I have a card to share with you today by using the set from Lawn Fawn Hats off to You.

The graduation hat is stamped on a black cardstock and heat embossed in white.  I love the idea of using the giant paper clip for this occasion too.  The sentiment "graduation"is stamped on a white cardstock and heat embossed in clear.  The paperclip is glued onto the sentiment and several layers of glossy accent is added onto it.
