Lawnscaping Challenge # 78

Today's card is sweet and simple.

The dog is from Lawn Fawn Critters at the Dog
Park which is stamped, heat embossed and coloured with copics.  Added some glossy on the nose and tongue.

I made the mini envelope so that the sweet puppy can fit in.  The banners are die cut from MFT Fish Tail.  I used the sentiment from PS Sentiment Sampler which is heat embossed in white on a vellum.

I am also entering this card into Penny Black and More.

Inside

We are into our 3rd week of renovation and heard that it will be completed by early next week.  At the moment, we have almost one completed toilet which I am happy that we could use it.  I am really looking forward to the end of the project.

Thanks for dropping by.

Lawnscaping Challenge #57

Hi everyone,

Hope you had a lovely mother's day for those who celebrated it or a lovely long weekend!

Just heard from a blog friend that she is expecting a baby in November (same birthday month as me and I was teasing her that it might be on the same date as mine).  I wanted to congratulate her with a pregnancy card but I do not have such stamp but realised that I do have a kangaroo with a little one from Lawn Fawn set.

The challenges over at Lawnscaping Challenge and A Blog Named Hero is Bling it!  So I took this opportunity to make this card with this theme.  I have not used acetate for a while now and decided to make an acetate card today.  Some glittered sentiments and sequins are added on the card.  I also sent her a little surprise and made a tag and swiped a layer of stickles on it!

Wedding Card

My nephew asked me if I could make a wedding card for him.  I jumped at the opportunity as making a wedding card is a rare opportunity for me.

I got this sketch from Skipping Stones Design which happen to be my first time participating too.

I didn't need to use too many stampings except for the sentiments and I hope my nephew will be happy to give it to his friend.

I am also entering this card into Ladybug Crafts Ink.

New Home

Thank you blogger that I'm able to upload the pictures again....

A friend mine who has been living here for 5 years will be moving to UK whereby she will settle down with her english husband and their 2 year old son.  Although I am caught with a bug flu this week,  I had to meet her for the last time which I've no regret although I was very tired with lots of body ache and headache thereafter.

I made this card last week already (thank goodness as I was too tired to make any this week).  I wish her all the best in her new country home and wish her well in her transition period.

This is an easel card and the stamp is from HA Home.  The door is stamped on a white and bordeaux cardstock.  I put a cellephone tape on the window of the white door to give a glass effect and paperpieced the bordeaux on the white door.  I also put their house number and applied glossy accent on the door.  Once the door is opened, I stamped the word "Hello"!

This card enters into the current submission of Gallery Idol 2011

Rainbow Bright

Yesterday, I was so thrilled to hear from Cath over at Tuesday Trigger that I won a one-year complimentary subscription of Paper Crafts Magazine.  Can't wait to receive my first copy as we don't sell it over here.

Over at Tuesday Trigger this week is to create something which is inspired by this picture. This card also enter into the challenge of  Ca-sual Fridays and Embellishmagazine

Here is my take on the picture.   I combined this challenge with Gallery Idol 2011 which leads me to create a graduation card which explains why the word as Con GRAD !  All the squares are punched, CB and I mixed all the CB alphabets to create the rainbow colours on a white cardstock.  The sentiment is computer printed.  Simple but colourful card!

Congratulation Card

This is my second card entering into Cas-ual Fridays challenge and I've chosen the same theme as the last which is embossing, buttons and die cuts.  This congrate card is also entering into the Gallery Idol 2011

I stamped the white cardstock with HA Manuscript Background in black and tear along the edge.  The other half is CB embossed and the sentiment is also from HA Everyday Saying.

Papercrafts - Gallery Idols

Can't resist this cute little bones and I thought I should make a card with this. Over at Papercrafts Connection is to design a Congratulations Card and I thought I should use this cutie.

This time I stamped the bones several times on a cornflakes box because the bones are so fragile and the bones needed a strong support! The bones are stamped in timber brown and applied glossy accents on them.  Thereafter cut and paste them along the edge of the card.  Stamped the dog on the tag and  used two different colour tones of the twine. This card also enters into the following challenge : Less is More, Pals Paper Arts
